Welcome to the Official Website of the
2010 American Tribute to Chopin Consortium
The American Tribute to Chopin is pleased to announce official events to take place in 2010 in celebration of the 200th anniversary of the birth of Frederic Chopin (1810-1849), as part of world-wide celebrations in honor of this great occasion.
Our activities will stress the importance of classical music in individual and social life, especially in the age of globalization, by highlighting Frederic Chopin's contributions to music and civilization. Planned events, including conferences, workshops, concerts, recitals, and master classes, will take place throughout 2010. Core events are planned for March 2010.
The American Tribute to Chopin is organized by a consortium of private and public cultural and social organizations and coordinated by Intermuse Performing Artists Bureau.
